Verstappen secures another "pole position", Hamilton again outside the

Dutch Red Bull driver Max Verstappen secured pole position this afternoon at the Zeltueb track, valid for the Austrian Grand Prix in Formula 1. The world champion clocked 1'04"391, being the fastest soon on the track. He will share the front row of the race with the Ferrari monogasque, Sharl Leklerk, second.

Verstappen's lead was felt against all rivals, being faster than the others in all three official practice sessions despite being on a short track. In third place was the Spaniard Carlos Sainz with the other Ferrari car, which left behind Lando Norris (McLaren) and Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes).

A track where there were many time cancellations by pilots who did not respect the space of the track, causing many pilots to finish outside the "top-10", such as Sergio Perez with Red Bull (15th) or George Russell with Mercedes (the 11th). Stroll, Alonso, Hulkenberg, Gasli and Albon were ranked among the top 10.

Tomorrow (4:30 p.m.) the "sprint race" will take place, where there will be special tests at noon for the ranking of the pilots at the start. While on Sunday, the normal Austrian race will take place, where the pilots will start according to the times they gave today on the track.
