Cristiano Ronaldo underwent a surprise anti-doping test, along with some of his Al Nassr teammates.
The staff of the relevant Saudi commission conducted a "blitz" visit on Tuesday evening to the training center of the team, in which the 39-year-old champion from Madeira plays.
Ronaldo was among the players, from whom samples were taken for anti-doping analysis.
This visit not only surprised Ronaldo's club, Saudi media say, but also sparked their anger, given the particular moment in which it happened.
In fact, there are only a few days left until the much-anticipated match where Al Nassr will face the league leaders, Al Hilal, who grabbed the title by dominating from start to finish of the championship.
