The brother of Shefki Cani, who lost his life 16 years ago in the explosion of Gërdec together with his wife, says that he has no faith that justice will bring the culprits to justice.
In a statement to the media, he said that he remembers it as the blackest day since he lost 11 family members in this tragedy.
"I remember it as the blackest day. Justice has never come for us and it never will. A very painful day to lose two members of the family. There are 11 people who are my cousins who lost their lives. They worked to support the children. I found my brother with DNA, I found my sister-in-law in the morgue with half a body.
The new justice is playing ping pong, those who were killed take the blame. Who will you hold accountable? My brother left behind 4 children, one daughter and three sons. I come here every year to bring a memorial flower ," he said.
