Today, the final farewell is being given to 22-year-old Albanian woman, Ilaria Sula, who was stabbed to death by her Filipino ex-boyfriend, who after killing her threw her into a ravine by putting her in a suitcase.
Her funeral will take place this afternoon in the Terni area of Italy, while earlier Ilaria's coffin arrived at the Albanian family's apartment, accompanied by her relatives.
The words of the 22-year-old's mother outside the house were touching, as she called out her daughter's name through tears.
"Oh my Ilaria, oh my mother died for you, oh my Ilaria, where are you, oh my mother's soul, where are you that you have no light in your eyes, where are you locked up, oh my mother's soul. I brought you home, mom, because you said I would come home, I brought you home, mom, oh my heart, oh Ilaria, open your eyes," Ilaria's mother can be heard crying bitterly.
