Prosecutor Mirela Zavalani said today in the Criminal Court, as she presented the 29-page conclusions, she requested that Rozeta Dobi be declared guilty and sentenced to 6 years in prison and that a shortened trial be applied.
Meanwhile, for her son, the prosecution requested 4 years in prison and an application to reduce the sentence by 1/3 and, based on Article 59, to be sentenced to 3 years of probation.
The prosecution body states that it has been proven that on October 15, 2022, 462 thousand euros were stolen from the apartment of Alda Klos. Rozeta Dobi is suspected of theft with serious consequences and theft more than once, while her son, Javier Dobi, is accused of theft with serious consequences. Regarding the accusation of money laundering, the Court returned the file, giving the Tirana prosecutor's office 3 months to prove the accusation. Also, the prosecutor emphasized that the two cars used by the young man were bought with the stolen money, with a value of about 300 thousand new lek. Therefore, the prosecution demanded that the two vehicles be transferred to the state, which were bought by Javier Dobi with the stolen money, and that the seizure be lifted for the bank accounts of the cleaner Dobi, and that the stolen jewelry be returned to the people who stole it.
