The killing and burial in Pëllumb Meta's cattle shed by his children is a serious event that shocked Durrës and the whole country.
After hints that 19-year-old Hygerta Meta killed and buried her father because he might have abused her, the young woman underwent a forensic examination, in which it was proven that such a thing does not exist. It turned out that the 19-year-old has no signs of sexual abuse.
Ejona Habip, police specialist for serious crimes, showed on the show GoodMorning Albanians details from the investigation regarding the serious incident and the emotional state of the 19-year-old in front of the police officers as she confessed the crime.
Asked if there is a possibility that there was an incest within the family, as during these days all possible clues have been laid for the motive of the macabre crime, the police expert said that this is not a hypothesis that is being investigated, as the possibility of sexual abuse by the father was ruled out.
"The girl has been subjected to the necessary expertise and no type of sexual abuse against her has been proven", said the expert.
