The head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, declared in Parliament that the Vlora airport issue is in the preliminary investigation phase.
"I do not give explanations for issues that are in the preliminary investigation phase ," said Dumani.
We recall that SPAK launched investigations into Vlora Airport in July.
The prosecution is investigating the technical details of Pacolli's agreement with the Albanian state and the contract for the construction of VIA.
"The Special Prosecution Office against Corruption and Organized Crime has registered criminal proceedings regarding the Vlora Airport concession contract. This proceeding is in the preliminary investigation phase," SPAK said in a statement.
The owner of this important work is the company of the Kosovo Albanian businessman, Behgjet Pacolli, called "Mabco Constructions". According to data declared at the National Business Center, it owns 98% of the shares, 2% is owned by the company 2A Group SH.PK.
