AGIKONS, a leader in the construction and development sector and part of the London-based UK Development Holding Group, is proud to announce its partnership with the prestigious Chevening program, a United Kingdom initiative that offers scholarships to young leaders to study at top British universities. This is one of AGIKONS’s many projects that aim to positively impact Albanian society and strengthen ties with the United Kingdom, with the exceptional support of the British Embassy in Tirana.
In an official ceremony, Mr. Gentian Sulo, President of Agikons sh.pk, signed the agreement with the Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Albania, Mr. Nicholas Abbott. Ambassador Abbott, despite his short time in office, has undertaken visionary initiatives to build a sustainable infrastructure of cooperation between the United Kingdom and Albania.
The British Embassy, under his leadership, is successfully promoting British values of business, education and culture in Albania, contributing directly to the economic and social development of the country. For the first time, diplomatic, economic and political relations between the two countries are reaching levels of exceptional importance, supported by unprecedented institutional support, which has created new opportunities for British enterprises such as AGIKONS and for cultural exchanges that strengthen bilateral ties.
With 30 years of experience and successful projects in construction and development in Albania, the UK, Greece, Italy and Kosovo, AGIKONS is an example of the positive impact of British businesses in Albania. This partnership with Chevening, made possible by the support of the British Embassy, reflects our commitment to empowering Albanian talent and opening doors to academic and professional opportunities on the global stage.
