A snowplow on Arbri Road has caused a triple accident.
While clearing snow near the Murriz tunnel on the Klos side, the snowplow hit a Volkswagen vehicle traveling in the direction of Tirana, which then collided with two other vehicles.
Several people were injured as a result of the collision, while the driver of the Volkswagen was taken to the hospital for specialized assistance.
Police arrived at the scene and have launched an investigation into the accident in question.
Meanwhile, it is learned that in the deep mountainous areas of Dibra, such as the Administrative Unit of Lura, Kala e Dodës, Muhurr, Selishtë, Zall-Dardhe, Reç, Trebisht, Ostren, as well as in the Martanesh area, the thickness of the snow has exceeded 10 centimeters.
As a result, difficulties in the movement of vehicles have continued, especially on roads connecting remote villages. The situation has been aggravated by landslides and partial collapses of roads in several administrative units of the region.
According to information received from the municipalities, local structures are on the ground and are working to open roads and normalize the situation, with the aim of guaranteeing the movement and safety of residents.
