The son-in-law of Sali Berisha, Jamarbër Malltezi, seeks freedom in the Supreme Court.
Through his lawyers, Malltezi appealed the decision of the Special Appeal to leave him under "house arrest".
SPAK demands the return to prison of Jamarbë Malltez.
In the appeal filed yesterday, lawyers Antoneta Sevdari and Jurgen Vatnikaj request that their client be without any security measure, with the argument that he has not committed any criminal offense.
Earlier, the decision of the Appeal was also opposed by SPAK, which demands the return of Malltez to prison.
Meanwhile, we recall that SPAK itself has appealed to the high court against the decision of Judge Iliriana Olldashi that released Jamarber Malltezin from prison.
SPAK's recourse came after Olldashi was in a conflict of interest with the Berisha family, having bought an apartment at a preferential price of 712 euros m² in one of the 19 towers built in the Partizani complex.
