Meta's withdrawal shows that he has learned from Berisha's mistakes, which isolated him within the four walls of his apartment.
The head of PL, became alive today after a long absence from the public and political scene. From the moment SPAK decided to take over the issues related to the former president, the latter completely changed his strategy.
Unlike his opposition ally, Sali Berisha, who stood up with everything he had, attacking SPAK and the new justice that the investigations against him were political, Meta has chosen to remain silent.
Meta's withdrawal shows that he has learned from Berisha's mistakes, which isolated him within the four walls of his apartment.
Even in his very rare public appearances, like today's, Meta is careful in what he says. SPAK is briefly mentioned in his speeches and rarely makes any 'universal' accusation, that the new justice is controlled by Rama.
Meta masa seems to have understood that 'silence' at these moments will buy him some time in facing justice. The former president's silence actually looks like a "pact" between him and SPAK, with the latter having opened "war" fronts both left and right, and a third front would be redundant at the moment.
Apparently, SPAK, in exchange for Ilir Meta's 'silence', has put the former president's file on the back burner and is currently dealing with two big 'sharks' such as Berisha and Beqaj.
But things are not so simple for the former president, since SPAK seems to have forced Meta to practice the first security measure that will be taken against him, that of "compulsion to appear"!
This is because every time in the media circles it is said that Meta may have escaped abroad, or that he is creating the conditions to avoid the investigation, the former president is forced to come out from where he is hiding, as if to tell SPAK- ut for not breaking the 'silent pact'.
In a way, Meta seems to have accepted his fate, but he is trying to avoid a humiliating treatment like that towards Berisha./ Pamphlet
