Journalist Dorjana Bezat spoke about the "head" of Shijak Astri Avdylaj's gang, who was arrested a few days ago, as he was allegedly the last person to contact Ervis Martinaj. The latter has been missing since August 2022.
Another crime figure, Durim Bami, was arrested on June 12 in Dubai, while still wanted by SPAK.
The journalist said that there is a belief that one of these crime figures who have been imprisoned recently will regret the fate of Martianaj.
"Justice is convinced that one of these crime figures regrets the fate of Ervis Martinaj", said Bezat for "TCH".
On the other hand, the former head of the State Police, Arben Hajdarmataj, said that he does not believe that Avdylaj will be the penitent of justice.
"As for the associate of justice, I don't think it can be Avdylaj, I explained a bit about his position, in relation to the law, I have to quote something big, in this respect I don't think he will be in this position, it's two moments, I don't believe to be, it can explain the questions that the prosecutor who is following the investigation can ask, if Avdylaj confesses the questions that will be asked to him, it will give a chance to the prosecution to proceed with the investigation on the fate of Martinaj.
I don't think that we, the public, nor the media, have all the information that has been served to us in different ways. I think that the Prosecutor's Office has other data that we don't know, because of the investigation we don't know ," said Hajdarmataj.
