The former head of the State Police, Shemshi Prençi, has commented on the arrest of former president Ilir Meta.
He said that SPAK could very easily solve Meta's arrest by calling him to the Prosecutor's Office building.
Prençi said that no one can say that the 12 or 14 principles of democratic policing were implemented in his arrest.
"Regardless of what SPAK has judged, it could very easily solve the arrest of Mr. Meta, calling him to SPAK, taking him as a defendant and handcuffing him to the police patrol.
"No one can tell me that one of the 12 or 14 principles of democratic policing was implemented in the case of the operation to arrest the former President of the Republic," said Prençi.
