Journalist Blendi Fevziu says that Albania needs a change of power, but the opposition has no chance of winning the next elections against Rama.
Invited to the show "Te Paespozuarit", Fevziu said that the situation of Berisha, under house arrest, is expected to continue as the investigations can last for years, so this will be a problem for the opposition.
He further added that the opposition will need the gray electorate to come to power, but according to him, with the current situation, it is very difficult for them to do it for themselves, despite the dissatisfaction with Rama.
"As far as I know, the investigations last another two years, so they can hold it until the elections. I don't believe they will bring charges, but they have the right to investigate for two years. The opposition has a dead end, because Berisha is closed.
The protest a week ago left a somewhat different taste. There were not so many people since a year and a half ago, so it showed that some kind of attempt for some kind of understanding, seriousness within the opposition, is rewarded in participation. So society sees when you are not serious and when you are serious. The first attempt to unite was reflected in the street. It is very little, but it is a change from three months ago.
I have no hope that the opposition can win the next elections with Rama. The opposition has not brought any great innovation, any new character, to arouse enthusiasm. Many Albanians, opposition voters, have also left, the electoral balance is unbalanced. The gray electorate is difficult to switch to the opposition despite the dissatisfaction with Rama. But sometimes a bad rotation is better than no rotation at all ," said Fevziu.
