Lawyer Genc Gjokutaj, who represents the DP leader, has revealed details about Sali Berisha's summons to SPAK regarding the January 21 issue.
On "Syri TV", Gjokutaj stated that every time the government is in difficulty, it seeks to bring up another issue to stir up public opinion.
According to him, the new evidence claimed is the audio recording submitted by journalist Artan Hoxha, which according to Gjokutaj does not implicate the Democratic Party leader, Sali Berisha, at all.
" They call an audio that journalist Artan Hoxha has made available a new thing. Yes. It is one, the first is an audio that does not implicate Mr. Berisha at all, first of all. Secondly, it, because here we are dealing not only with a body that is not competent to investigate because, because it has declared its competence for the first time, yes, because there is no evidence or indication that Berisha is involved in that event, and secondly, the evidence on which these people rely, which is called, is not evidence in the sense of the law, both in terms of its probative force and in the form that the law requires it to be taken.
"So, it is an audio that is unknown who it is, who made it, with what means it was made, do you understand? And why was it kept for, for, for 13 years, 14 years hidden and after 13-14 years, new evidence comes to us which, which supposedly, after searching, opened horizons for SPAK and the investigative body ," the lawyer emphasized.
