The Police of Tropoja have reacted regarding the protest held yesterday in Fierza against the works in the quarry and the construction of the bitumen factory.
At least seven people who were part of the protest were detained by the authorities.
Meanwhile, in an official reaction today, the authorities inform that of the seven detained, five of them have been prosecuted in a free state for the criminal offenses "Organization and participation in illegal gatherings and demonstrations", "Disobedience to the order of the employee Public Order Police" and "Obstruction of the circulation of means of transport".
The banned are:
-P. Gj., 46 years old, resident of Fierza;
-AD, 30 years old, resident of Bajram Curri;
- SR, 44 years old, resident in the village of Breg-Lum;
-SD, 63 years old, resident of Dushaj village;
- KP, 28 years old, resident of Rajë village.
From the preliminary investigative actions, it turned out that the citizen P. Gj. has organized a protest in Fierza, without the permission of the competent bodies, and together with the other 4 citizens who were processed at large, have obstructed the circulation of vehicles, and have not obeyed the orders of the Police officers.
In the following, the materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office, where the proceedings were initiated in a free state for the criminal offense "Malicious use of telephone calls", and for the citizen AB, 53 years old, as he is suspected of having threatened the citizen P. Gj.
In-depth investigations are continuing at the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, to document the criminal responsibility of each of these citizens.
