Over 40 cm of snow in Dibër

Heavy snowfall has created problems in several administrative units of the Dibër District. Since yesterday, some areas have been left without electricity.

In the units of Lura, Kala e Dodës, Selishte and Muhurr, the snow depth has exceeded 40 centimeters. The Municipality of Dibër is working to open roads to the villages, while reports confirm that some of them remain isolated.

In the city of Peshkopi, the snow has reached about 20 centimeters. Authorities allow traffic on the Peshkopi-Kukës road only with chains and with difficulty. The Ura e Çerenec-Librazhd segment remains impassable, while teams are working to open it.

The Peshkopi-Tirana road remains open to traffic without chains. The relevant structures are continuing to clean and open rural roads throughout the region.
