All three of them have a role in the case of the murder of Egli Proga.
The Chief of Police is accused by the citizens, based on the evidence that has come out so far, of trying to hide the incident by reporting it as accidental. Only after increasing public pressure, the case began to unravel and it turned out that Egli Proga was beaten to death.
Vasjana Postol and Luljeta Kole are the two magistrates who have chosen to "do a circus" in the courtroom, sending home the three people accused of this incident, who turned out to have been witnesses and did not even intervene to quell the fight, but nor have they agreed to show details, claiming that they had not seen anything.
Journalist Desada Metaj calls for the opposition to pursue this case as a priority, in order not to allow everything to be forgotten after three days, but to demand the immediate dismissal from office of the three aforementioned officials and the initiation of investigations against them.
Meanwhile, the website "JOQ Albania" has published a photo that shows a suspicious connection between the husband of the prosecutor of the case Vasjana Postol and one of the defense lawyers of the accused in the case of the murder of Egli Proga.
Ervin Xjihani, the husband of the prosecutor Vasjana Postol, is seen having lunch with the lawyer Budion Hoxha, who is defending one of the accused persons together with Denis Meçe, who allegedly raped the 42-year-old until he died. According to sources, Xhihani and Hoxha have been close friends for many years.
Yesterday, the prosecutor of the case, Vasjana Postol, significantly softened the charge against Denis Meçe, officially accusing him of the criminal offense of "Manslaughter", which is punishable by a fine of up to 5 years in prison, while the Police had referred to the incident as an intentional murder. .
Also, the prosecution requested "Compulsion to appear" for the other three accused of failing to report a crime; Voltan Shulkun, 40 years old, Arian Manellarin, 55 years old, and Leonidha Guçen, 47 years old. Voltan Shulku is the owner of the bar where Egli Proga was raped. The lawyer Budion Hoxha, who appears in the photo with the prosecutor's husband, is the defense lawyer of Voltan Shulk, the owner of the bar where the serious incident took place.
