Journalist Artan Hoxha, commenting on the arrest of the former mayor of Durrës, said that this move by SPAK came at the end of Ambassador Yuri Kim's mandate, as a trophy for completing her mission in Albania.
In an interview for the show "Top Talk", he added that Dako's arrest is a big blow to justice, as according to him the former mayor had more weight than Rama's ministers, who according to him were overthrown one by one. He also added that his arrest was a message to other rulers.
"But what is embarrassing for Rama is the fact that Vangjush Dako was hit at the moment of the last days of ambassador Yuri Kim in Albania, who is the person who has influenced all the recent issues of SPAK. So seen in this prism, the biggest trophy that the ambassador received at the end of her term was the arrest of Dako. Vangjushi was not at the rank of minister, so politically he was much more powerful than them, because ministers changed, while Vangjushi did not. Even this new president who was elected, no one accused her, everyone said Gjushi. That's why his arrest and in these moments that I said is a message that goes up. And the big surprise in this whole situation is that in the end Dako is arrested on ridiculous charges, for abuse of office ", said Hoxha.
