The topic of Greece's veto and Fredi Beleri's swearing in as mayor of Himara has been accompanied by debates in the "Review" show on Euronews Albanian.
The vice-president of OMONIA, Jorgo Xhomaka, left the show after the position taken by Ardit Bido, director of the Archives of Albania, regarding these issues.
Excerpts from the debate:
Jorgo Xhomaka : I see a wild nationalism towards the Greek minority and it cannot accept it. Who is afraid of the Greek minority and why Bido twists the words. I don't want to participate in the conversation anymore. Thank you very much. I do not accept nationalisms.
Ardit Bido : No one accuses me of nationalism. Xhomaka does not know how to distinguish between the general and the specific.
