Citizen denounces: Raiffeisen ATM withheld 250 thousand lek from me without a receipt
Raiffeisen Bank seems to have turned into a bank that extorts citizens. In addition to high fees and commissions, it now seems that this bank is also taking money from its customers.
The editorial office of " Pamphlet " has received a complaint, where a citizen named Grigor Dedi claims that 250 thousand new lek were withheld from him through an ATM in Elbasan during a deposit process.
According to the complaint, the incident occurred on March 23, at around 12:10, at a Raiffeisen ATM in the city center. The citizen states that he initially deposited 250 thousand lek and then chose the option to add another amount.
" On March 23rd at around 12:10, I deposited 250 thousand new lek at the Raiffeisen Elbasan Center ATM, initially, then it gave me the option 'add' or 'accept'. I clicked on the 'add' option and deposited another 250 thousand lek. The ATM rejected my action and returned only 250 thousand new lek, the ATM kept another 250 thousand new lek without giving me a receipt and without being reflected in my account balance ," the citizen said.
He adds that after about 10 minutes he contacted customer service, where, according to him, it was confirmed that the action was completed, but not reflected in the account.
" After 10 minutes, I called the customer care center, who clearly told me that I saw that the action had been performed, but it had not been reflected, and told me to file a written complaint with Raiffeisen, which I did immediately ," the citizen continues.
The citizen claims that so far the amount has not been returned to him, while, according to him, the bank verbally communicated to him that the money was not physically present in the ATM.
" So far, the money has not been returned to me and they have verbally informed me that the money does not appear in the physical state of the ATM, which makes me think that 'Bankomati-Hajdut' has appropriated this money ," he adds.
This is one of the many denunciations against "Raiffaisen Bank", which has become an extortion bank in the country. It should be noted that it is under investigation by SPAK, as the Chinese have moved the stolen money through "Bankers Petroleum".
