
The Italian MP Filiberto Zaratti from the Green Party has today asked for a meeting with the Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni on the agreement with Albania for immigrants.

In the request, it is emphasized that Meloni must answer in the Italian Parliament for the agreement she made with the 'Albanian narcostate'.
Meanwhile, in the interperlan's request, it is stated that compared to the 650 million euros originally budgeted for 5 years, the total expenditure may exceed the threshold of 1 billion euros. While for these budgets, he emphasized the fact that Italy will stop the Albanian mafia cartels from benefiting and stealing money from this agreement.
MP Zaratti has also added that according to the findings of the investigative program Report, Albania is considered a narco-state, since mafia cartels have direct links to the activities of the Albanian Government.
"Report" found some unexpected and disturbing answers in Albania, defined by many international observers as a "Narkoshtet" due to the strong influence of the Albanian mafia cartels on the activities of the Government that will certainly benefit from this agreement," the request states.
