The Director of the Environment at the National Inspectorate for Territorial Protection (IKMT), Klesti Çela, has been declared wanted by the police after allegedly raping the director of the Directorate for the Execution of Decisions, Fatmir Meta, on the institution's premises.
According to information, Çela, who is also Ergys Agas' brother-in-law, is suspected of having, together with three other yet unidentified people, attacked Meta inside the institution's premises.
"The Crime Investigation Specialists of the Police Commissariat No. 2 declared citizen Klesti Çela wanted, as it is suspected that yesterday, together with 3 still unidentified citizens, he attacked citizen Meta, director of the Directorate of Execution of Decisions of the IKMT, in the course of his duty, on the premises of this institution. Work is underway to fully clarify the circumstances of the case," the police announced.
Sources indicate that the conflict within the institution was related to an issue related to an inspection group for soil disposal. Initially, the argument between Meta and Çela began verbally, while a day later the situation escalated into physical violence, where Meta is suspected of being hit with the butt of a pistol.
Fatmir Meta is one of the leaders of IKMT, known for his actions to demolish illegal buildings. Most recently, he led the operation to demolish several tourist buildings in Theth, which also led to clashes with local residents.
Following the incident, the head of the IKMT, Afrim Qëndro, decided to dismiss Klesti Çela and Ervin Bixha, who held the position of advisor to the chief inspector. Bixha is the brother of Elgert Bixha, a name linked to businessman Ergys Agasi, who was wanted by SPAK for the scandal and affairs with AKSHI.
