Analyst Frrok Çupi spoke after the death of the great writer Ismail Kadare. He said that today is a shocking day for Albania, as Kadare has given a lot to the culture of this country.

Çupi said that Ismail Kadare is a personality who divided the era and will remain in history.

"It is very valuable to be in the studio today for Kadare. It is one of the most marked days, which will remain in the history of the Albanian nation. Kadare is Kadare, when many great people have left the world they said it was a painful day, but today is a shocking day, more than painful. Death before Kadare is very small. Even for us, it is very little compared to what Kadare has given to the culture of this country. Today I can tell you that Kadare has divided the era, that is, it was with his era that he created and today we no longer have the era of Kadare. We will feel the shock very big and why the age of Artificial Intelligence can bring it back in different forms.

In our life, Ismail was not called Ismail Kadare, but simply Ismail. He is a personality not only very high, but also very close with whom he communicates, not only physically or verbally, but also through books", he told "Abc News".

Regarding his personal relationship, Çupi has revealed that Kadare was his teacher and then his friend. He remembered the trip to the USA, where they bonded more and realized that the writer was very concerned about the Albanian nation.

"In addition to having him as a lecturer, at the time when we looked at him as an idol, he did not give many lectures, but a few in our Faculty, since I studied Political Science and he taught me contemporary literature. Ismaili is a classic lord and has a keen eye for students and spoke with a laconic. What brought me together with Ismail was the moment of the creation of the Rilindja Demokratike newspaper, where he was very close to me. He called me on the number of the editorial office from Paris and motivated me, telling me how good this newspaper is.

The longest period I stayed with Ismail was June 1991, I stayed intensively, we were together in the USA and we had the most ordinary and the most shocking conversations. He was very worried about the nation and what the nation did wrong at night, he fixed during the day", said Frrok Çupi.
