The opposition protest will be held this afternoon.
The rally is expected to start at 5:30 p.m., on "Dëshmorët e Kombit" boulevard, between the Prime Minister's Office and the Assembly headquarters.
The Democratic Party has started preparations for more than a week, while in the last few days the deputies and officials of this political force have gone to the ground to hold meetings with the base and citizens.
In all their statements, they have put the greatest emphasis on participation in this protest, so they have repeatedly called for all citizens to join them.
This is the first protest of this size that the opposition has been holding for some time, but it is the first where former Prime Minister Sali Berisha will not be physically present due to the measure of "house arrest".
However, his supporters have also warned of Berisha's participation, through technology.
Even the government has taken all measures to ensure the protest, through the engagement of the police forces.
It is learned that over 1,100 police forces, starting from those of order, FNSH, the Eagles and the Guard of the Republic, will be on the ground for the smooth progress of the protest.
RENEA forces will also be on standby. There will also be water tankers if needed in case of incidents.
Civil agents will also be involved in the field, to monitor the progress of the protest.
The doors of the prime minister's office will be armored with metal cladding. The police have installed high-resolution cameras along the entire "Dëshmorët e Kombit" boulevard.
The road segments that are blocked 2 hours before the start of the protest until its end are:
"Dëshmorët e Kombit" boulevard, "Nënë Tereza" square, "Ismail Qemali" street, from the intersection of Elbasan street with "Ibrahim Rugova" street , "Pope John Paul II" street, "Zhan D'Ark" boulevard and "Bajram Curri" boulevard, from the intersection of Elbasan Street with "Ibrahim Rugova" street.
