Analyst Mentor Nazarko has analyzed the US security document, which warned of a kind of distancing from the US. According to him, the document, which reflects the philosophy of 'America First' and the influence of conservative think tanks such as the Heritage Foundation, places an emphasis on extreme pragmatism. Speaking on "Të Pashoj", Nazarko said that it warns of a withdrawal from protracted conflicts and a focus on ending the war in Ukraine, even through agreements that may seem unfair to Kiev, with the sole purpose of stabilizing markets and focusing on its main rival: China.
Mentor Nazarko: Yes, first of all, to understand the meaning of that document, we need to know that such documents are like a kind of bible of the actions of every American president. So they are approved every four years, generally in the first year of their mandates. And so knowing this, then we will have to imagine that this document has the stamp, has the face, has the personalization of this president. Of course, this was the first element of the context, but the other elements of the context that are useful for understanding it are that yes, this is a presidential mandate that is being developed while the conflict in Ukraine is being closed or is being attempted to be closed. So then there are elements that reflect the orientation in time and space of this president towards this conflict. Third, it reflects what has actually been the main Republican document for the presidency, which is usually prepared by important think tanks, is one called the Heritage Foundation or Project 2025. Those were theses that Trump said during his electoral campaign, but also that he has taken up again in his presidential mandate. So, there is no surprise, there is nothing personal or so to speak that it is a 100% product of the mind of Trump's personality, but it is the product of, let's say, designed, a suit tailored to the personality, but in this specific case since we are using the metaphor of the suit, according to Trump's body and that reflects that center of power, that center of interests, the group of interests that is behind him.
