Salianji is accused of publicly denouncing the government for his connections with traffickers and for favoring the government by facilitating and cooperating in illegal activity.
Salianji made a series of denunciations, even from the cannabis fields, about former minister Tahiri's ties to cannabis. Then the Democratic Party and Ervin Salianji claimed that the links to the crime were held by the brother of the former successor minister, Fatmir Xhafaj.
In that period, the investigative journalist Jetmir Olldashi published another video where the so-called "Babale" presented himself as the driver of the speedboat of the brother of the former Minister of the Interior.
After his denunciation, the opposition and Salianji published the case, for this a criminal investigation was opened with the report of Agron Xhafaj where Salianji is accused of defamation.
