Businessman Ergys Agasi has had the seizure lifted for only one apartment, while the rest of the seized assets remain under the measure previously set by the authorities.
The Special Court of Appeals has decided to lift the seizure of some assets of persons being investigated within the framework of the "AKSHI" file.
According to the decision, the seizure measure for the amount of 123,629,664 lek has been lifted in the entity "F" sh.pk, owned by businessman Gëzim Hoxha.
The Appeal has also decided to release from seizure the amounts of 410,595,663 lek and 94,423,883 lek in the entity "FASTECH" sh.pk, owned by businessman Andis Papa.
Another amount of 100,840,264 lek, related to the entity "FASTECH" sh.pk and businessman Elison Jorgji, has also been removed from the seizure measure.
Meanwhile, businessman Ergys Agasi has had the seizure lifted for only one apartment, while the rest of the seized assets remain under the measure previously set by the authorities.
On April 21, the Special Prosecution Office against Corruption and Organized Crime (SPAK) announced the seizure of at least 52 assets with a combined value of around 40 million euros, linked to persons under investigation in the “AKSHI” file.
The seized assets included apartments, villas, land, forests, buildings, luxury vehicles, a yacht, bank accounts and shares in various companies.
According to SPAK, 29 assets were seized from Ergys Agas alone, including apartments, villas and land in Tirana, Durrës and Vlora, as well as several bank accounts and the company "EA Solution".
Among the seized assets was part of the "Equos Resort" resort, as well as a 2023 "Land Rover Defender" vehicle.
As part of the same investigation, SPAK also took action against businessman Ermal Beqiri, seizing 10 assets and several bank accounts.
According to official data, the seized assets include land and buildings in Tirana, Vlora and Golem, businesses, luxury vehicles, as well as the yacht "Predator 50 Skyfall", worth around 1 million euros.
Investigations into the "AKSHI" file continue, while the Appeals Court's decision affects only a portion of the assets previously placed under preventive seizure.
