Prime Minister Edi Rama has reacted to the investigation that SPAK has launched regarding Zvërnec, but by dividing the procedure into two sides, as he expressed it, positive and ugly. During a press conference, Rama, while expressing his determination for the continuation of the project in Zvërnec, describing the role of investors as indisputable, said that he encourages the Special Prosecution Office to investigate the origin of the property. But further commenting on this investigation launched by SPAK, Rama considered the blocking of bank accounts of “Albania Land Development” arbitrary and ugly, as reported by the media.
According to the Prime Minister, the investors' financial resources have proven to be legal, which makes SPAK's action to block the accounts ugly.
" The actions have two parts; the positive part that belongs to SPAK and the ugly part that belongs to SPAK's self-appointed spokespeople. The positive part is the part of the investigation into the origin of an asset. As long as this is a raised problem, rightly or wrongly, and much discussed, especially as long as this is related to an ongoing investigation into the subject, it is very positive that SPAK investigates the origin of this property, it is welcome and encourages this investigation.
The ugly part is that of self-appointed spokespeople who share half-truths that are the biggest lies since the investors who are today the owners of the property according to Albanian legislation, are investors with an unquestionable reputation, the financial sources to forward the payment to the property owners have been thoroughly investigated by the Money Laundering Agency in coordination with international partners and have resulted to be totally legal and come from financial institutions with a global reputation.
This issue, as it is two-faced, should be divided into two parts. Investors are within their rights.
Blocking the transaction on their part is completely arbitrary and negative. Blocking the transfer of money to the owner about whom there are doubts is a matter within the right of the investigative body. I consider it positive, because the investment continues with its new and legal owners and in case it reveals another origin of the property, those who have the right to that property can receive that money and everyone is happy except the party that deceived.
I would call on self-appointed spokespeople to think twice about writing some truths because they offend Albania.
"It is known who the investors are because they are reputable people. I am absolutely open to discussing with anyone who has claims, but we need to clarify what the claims are about. If they are about property, it has its own path and can lead to an ideal solution," Rama said.
Earlier, the media reported that SPAK has placed under preventive seizure the bank accounts of 'Albania Land Development', the company owned by two well-known entrepreneurs from Qatar, brothers Moutaz and Ramez Al-Khayyat, who have planned to invest together with Jared Kushner, son-in-law of US President Donald Trump, in the construction of a luxury resort in Zvërnec.
'Albania Land Development', it turns out, has purchased the land on which the project will be implemented. It was initially owned by Redi Struga, who after selling it, appointed him one of the three administrators of the company, but with limited rights to the firm. There is still no official announcement from SPAK regarding the actions, the amount placed under preventive seizure that was found in the company's bank accounts.
SPAK's preventive seizure comes as part of an investigation launched a few weeks ago into property titles in the Zvërnec area. According to what Prime Minister Edi Rama stated a day earlier, investors from Qatar have purchased the land, through banking transactions, from entities and individuals equipped with property titles.
SPAK has launched the investigation, and is acting quickly, unlike other cases where investigations drag on. It is not known how much SPAK's investigations may affect the progress of the project, which is considered one of the largest in the field of tourism not only in Albania, but in the entire region, with a value of 4.5 billion euros. /Pamphlet/

Sa turp institucionet e tij me ato kalime pronash mashtruan investitorë serioze! Skandal! Shqiptarët denoncojnë çdo dite probleme me hipotekat, dhe tashmë dyshime për regjistrime çregjistrime pronash nga regjistri elektronik lidhur me skandalin e AKSHIT! ASHK dhe AKSHI dy agjensi ne varësi direkte te kryeministrit, po faji është jetim?
Po thuajini ketij te gjatit qe nese eshte ceshtje private, perse eshte terbuar dhe ben patriotin, specialistin, juristin inxhinierin arkitektin e gjithshka vetem e vetem per te thene, çfare... ? Per te gjitha keto sjellje, ai nuk po e kupton osé e ka hall personal shume te madh, ky robi po I jep te kuptoje te gjitheve qe eshte vete ne loje. Kujtojani pak takimet e zhvilluara ne Katar, Emiratet e Bashkuara Arabe dhe ne Aruba dhebpyeteni a kane lidhje keto me kete rast.
Po pse shqetesohet ky i gjati per ngrirjen e llogarive bankare? Ke do te paguajne ata me ato para deri sa SPAK te sqaroje se kush jane pronaret e vertete dhe kush ka bere dallavere me pronat? Hapur dalin qendrime te dyshimta te Rames dhe presione ndaj SPAK qe te beje formalisht ca hetime dhe ne fund te flasin me gjuhen qe do Rama. Ky kujton se njerzit jane budallenj! Lere SPAK te hetoje, te nxjerri te verteten e prones dhe nga vijne ato para (se sa per agjencine e pastrimit te parave, tashme e kemi te qarte punen qe ben) e pastaj normalisht do veje haka tek i zoti, po jo ku te doje e si te doje Rama. Pse i djeg Rames kjo mase e SPAK???? Sipas tij edhe certifikatat e pronesise i ka leshuar ajo Goxhobelli sipas ligjit dhe ska nevoje te hetoje SPAK!!!!!!
