"I want to vote in 2025", the diaspora in Milan protests on the eve of the meeting with Rama

On the eve of Prime Minister Edi Rama's meeting with Albanian immigrants in Italy, the diaspora living in Milan protested today in front of the Albanian Embassy building.

After Athens, Rama will continue his tour of meetings with the diaspora on May 26 in Milan. The gathering of Albanian immigrants in Milan with the motto "I want to vote in 2025", started at 11:00 and continued for more than 60 minutes.

This was the fourth protest of the Albanian diaspora after the violation of the deadlines for the implementation of the decision of the Constitutional Court, which left it up to the Assembly a year ago to fill the legal gap that prevents the voting of immigrants for the elections in Albania. 

Similar ones have been held in Munich, Vienna and Stuttgart, while according to Arbë Lleshi, this organic form of protest will continue in London, The Hague and Washington.
