The baby food "Aptamil AR2" has been removed from the market, following a decision taken by the Food Control Agency.
This is because in a batch of this product, the presence of the substance Cereulide has been identified.
" Since the level of risk has been assessed as serious, the company has taken immediate measures to withdraw the product, APTAMIL AR 2 - infant formula, packaging, ENG 24 x 400 gr. Manufactured by Nutricia Infant Nutrition Ireland Ltd. Danone , from the market," the AKU announced.
The company "Rossmann & Lala" has also announced that it is specifically withdrawing from the market the series "APTAMIL 1 PRONUTRA 800G ADVANC 0.8 kg" and "APTAMIL PRE PROFUTURA DUO ADVA 0.8 kg".
According to the company, this recall is a precautionary measure due to the suspicion that one of the batches produced may have the presence of the microorganism Bacillus cereus.
"Customers who have purchased the products mentioned above can return them to the store where they purchased them. The purchase price will be refunded even without a receipt," the announcement says.

The manufacturer of "Aptamil", Danone Deutschland, asked distributor Alliance Healthcare to recall several batches of Aptamil, manufactured between May and August 2025.
Danone said on Friday it was recalling specific batches of infant formula in certain markets. The company did not specify which brands or countries were involved, nor the quantity of products, but stressed that it believes its products are safe and comply with all relevant safety regulations.
According to Reuters, concerns about baby products first emerged in December, but escalated in early January, when Nestlé announced the recall of several series of baby food products, including SMA, BEBA and NAN formulas, due to possible contamination with the toxin cereulide, which can cause nausea and vomiting.
The recalls have affected dozens of countries and then spread to other French producers, such as Lactalis and Vitagermine, threatening combined losses exceeding $1 billion. Danone shares have lost nearly 13% of their value over the past two weeks.
French authorities are investigating whether there is a link between the deaths of two babies and formula products that have been recalled from the market.
On Thursday, the German Federal Office for Consumer Protection and Food Safety announced that several batches of Danone products are being recalled and that an official recall is only announced when it is confirmed that the products have reached consumers.
Cereulide, a toxin produced by the bacterium Bacillus cereus, was detected in an ingredient supplied by a supplier.
