Journalist Klodiana Lala has commented on the serious incident that occurred in Durrës, where 15-year-old Erion Boba lost his life after being stabbed by another minor. Lala described the case as "very serious and painful", demanding answers from the responsible institutions for the way the minor was treated in the hospital.
According to her, it was initially reported that the 15-year-old was injured after a conflict between him and another minor, a conflict that allegedly started from a debate on the TikTok platform. After the event, the Durrës hospital announced that the surgical intervention had been successful. However, Erion's condition deteriorated and he was transferred to the QSUT resuscitation.
Lala said that a family member of the victim had contacted her by phone for help. " She told me that the boy needed specialized treatment and that the family didn't know what to do. She sent me a very painful photo, almost the last moments of his life, " the journalist said, emphasizing that the family, who had come from Bulqiza for a better life in Durrës, were desperate and shocked.
“While I was looking for ways to help, I was informed that Erion had passed away, ” Lala said. She added that the minor’s aunt had told her that they had requested urgent help for the boy, but no one responded in time.
The journalist demanded that health authorities provide explanations for the 15-year-old's treatment.
"QSUT and the Ministry of Health must clarify what happened in these critical moments ," Lala stressed, appealing for full transparency, on the "Kjo Javë" show on News24.
