Citizens have exploded at Mayor Emirjana Sako, saying that they have not made any investments and that they have only stolen citizens' money, just putting on a show.
"We pay a minimum of 3 million euros or 4 million euros that the Durrës municipality collects. As a building administrator, when they announce a blocked well, they don't come. Currila is all blocked, he came with the workers, took 3-4 photos and left. As long as we have an administration bought and sold by patrons who are paid by our taxes and don't work, Durrës will flood. Along with the water, we must remove these people too. Durrës has no investments, no cleaning by the administration. They only come out for show, they don't do anything. This protest started about the floods but it won't end until the thieves leave," he said.
