Analyst Enton Abilekaj has stated that it is likely that Prime Minister Rama will not be able to complete the fourth mandate won with the elections of May 11, 2025.
He listed as arguments the numerous corruption scandals and the international stance, which is no longer what it used to be.
"The situation within the country for Rama is not positive. With the recent scandals and the SPAK investigations, support for Rama has fallen. Second, he does not have the international support he had. If until yesterday he had unquestionable international support, today he does not have it. We have seen, even in the last meeting within the party, he spoke about the lack of support from Germany, about German skepticism, even to the point of sabotage.
"The relations with the US are not that good. Even with the Peace Board, there was no other meeting, except for that. The official positions that the American government... Having no support from abroad, dissatisfaction, Rama finds it difficult to end his mandate. If his relations with the EU deteriorate and this challenge of Balluku's immunity is one of the challenges, and others will come later when he intervenes in the legislation, the EU will also openly express a critical stance towards Rama ," Abilekaj said on the show "The Unexposed".
