The member of the Presidency of the DP, Belind Kelliçi, has warned that the mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj is planning his departure from the country.
In an interview for "Syri Tv", Kelliçi said that the issue of incinerators will never be closed, as that SPAK prosecutors will close the investigation without including Erion Veliaj, PD will publish other facts and documents to reopen the case.
“It has been a little more than 2-3 months, that the opinion and the circle of political tables of the day in Tirana have filled that I have closed this issue. There will be no problems from SPAK. It has received guarantees at home and abroad that it will not be hit. In the same way, he had filled people's minds that neither his directors nor Taulant Tusha would be hit.
Today as we speak, there is word that he is preparing a scenario to leave the country because this is how he wants this work to go and if they think that this case will be closed with these documents and they take it to the investigation without including Veliaj, this case it never closes.
Because I am guaranteeing you that I, like Belind, still have evidence and other documents, I have thought about this day, we have a whole group of experts who have been working for months in DP, that we have also thought about this day and that we will also have new evidence at the moment when it will be necessary to have new evidence to open the case and to reopen the case", said Këlliçi.
