Lawyer Edmond Petraj has supported Prime Minister Edi Rama's statements regarding justice. Petraj says that Rama is reacting as prime minister, as complaints and denunciations regarding detention measures and prosecutors' investigations have increased.
"SPAK should not fall prey to politics. Politics has its critics. Rama speaks as prime minister. There are two portals, there are relations in co-government, there are 7800 denunciations. It is not the Ministry of Justice's responsibility. It is another institution that should deal with the justice system. The Ministry has no right to interfere with the KLP, KLGJ. No matter how much it is discussed, the part of impunity has ended, there is no immune character and this is obvious," Petraj said on Report TV.
He further emphasized that the problem is that the parties' lawyers try to find a comfortable communication model.
" In general, there are files that leave something to be desired. There may be extremes, reasonable suspicion has become fashionable. I think Mr. Dumani did well to come out today, defend his institution. Yesterday, the KLP made a blunder, it is not there to come out in defense of the Special Structure. The KLP protects the citizen. The institutions are separate ," he said.
