Senior Police Chief Rebani Jaupi has spoken about the Shkodra massacre, where Hamza Lici and Arlind Bushati were killed, as well as a married couple, who were not related to the event.
He says that there is light regarding the crime in Shkodra. According to him, the event is under investigation and new facts emerge every day.
Jaupi stated that security measures have been strengthened in the northern district. He said that Vlora is another problematic city in terms of crime. According to him, Elbasan is now calmer, as the criminal gangs have received the deserved punishment.
"Police structures are investigating the event in Shkodër and other events. There is a light for the event of Shkodra. The event in Shkodër is under investigation, new facts emerge every day. I am convinced that the perpetrators of the event in Shkodër and other serious events that happened recently will be caught. We have taken increased measures in the region of Shkodra, where there have been many problems, including for the cultivation of drugs.
Especially the killing of two innocent citizens is really alarming. We will do everything to return security to Shkodra. Vlora is also problematic. In Elbasan, several criminal groups have been hit and the aggressiveness of the gangs in this city has decreased", he said for "News 24".
