Journalist Artan Hoxha, speaking about the investigations into 'January 21', said that it is not important who is more responsible, but who killed those protesters in front of the Prime Minister's Office.
" I didn't know that I didn't really care whether the opposition or the government was responsible. I was interested in who killed those people and from that moment the situation changed, the footage came out and I couldn't sleep until the moment when the shell that came out of Agim Lluost's automatic rifle that we took out on video was found in Ziver Veizi's body and they said "yes, this shell came out of the automatic rifle with this serial number". That's when I was convinced and that's when I calmed down because I was also afraid that they would manipulate the evidence and they could do the same thing they did with Aleks Nika, with Aleks Nika's shell, that they ruined it with a file, they damaged the shell so that it wouldn't even be identified from what weapon it was fired. From that moment on, the story changed, the servers were deleted, the DVR was deleted. After 12 years, I fell on the trail of the audio recording because I have heard many variants in recent days. Everyone is talking, but the main people are not talking. This is the pivot from which the issues started. I "I have followed the story together with the Nika family because they have not given up on the murder of their family member. The case has been tried and the verdict has been given at all levels of the judiciary that the murders were committed out of negligence only for two of the victims, for Ziver Veizi and for Faik Myrto, and it has been said that Ziver Veizi was killed as seen in the picture by Agim Lupo, the chief of staff, and in the meantime the commander of the Guard, general Ndrea Prendi with his pistol killed Faik Myrto and Faik Myrto was not killed at the door of the Prime Minister's Office, he was killed across the boulevard, he was killed at the Presidency of the Parliament", added Hoxha in the studio of "Off the Record", on A2CNN.
According to him, the case was reopened by the Supreme Court after the Strasbourg decision, as according to him, SPAK did not want to deal with this file.
" The murder of Hekuran Deda and the murder of Aleks Nika have not been tried. And that's why I followed the case with the Nika family. I became aware of the recording, because at that time it was said that there were no servers. The audio also became the starting point for the reopening of the case and we were asking SPAK to open it. I received the audio after 12 years, somewhere around July 2022, I became aware of this information. Why did I become aware of it? Because from the documentaries I noticed that in the footage I was watching the senior leaders of the Guard, which I saw with the naked eye that day from the position I had, I was in both towers, I saw that the leaders of the Guard were communicating on the radio and from experience I know that to communicate on the radio you have a central unit. The Guard records everything from the moment it leaves the unit and until it returns to the unit. So, there is also a verbal process, which is kept in writing, a protocol, there is also what is with a camera. But also from the radio, from the communication on the radio and I saw that they had a radio and that's why I insisted and asked to find the communication on the radio. I told the prosecutors that the codes for using the radios that day were these and I gave the codes. So, each official does not go out there in his own name, he goes out with codes. I took a mini-tape recorder to SPAK. There is no way to reproduce the voice of Ndrea Prendi and the entire chain of command of the Guard communicating with each other. I have submitted a material that is somewhere around 34 minutes and 36 seconds. Of course, there was more in the recording because the protest lasted 4 hours, but this 34-minute period is the moment before, during and after the murder. It clearly shows that the murders were committed by order. The part about who gave the order is the task of the investigation, which I know that SPAK did not want to take on this event. The Supreme Court forced it after the Strasbourg decision, but with codes that I have brought. This audio definitely brings it. The audio serves first to show that the Guard has functioned by order, as the law has it. Here I agree with Berisha. Berisha says the Guard functioned as the law has it. But, the law has it that the Guard functions by order, not by initiative and self-action like the partisans. And by law the Guard has it that it functions with hierarchy. So, the Guard acts on the basis of orders that come to it through hierarchical channels. I have brought the material that shows that the decisions of the Albanian courts so far have been false. The journalist emphasized that the bullet that killed Aleks Nika has been sent to the FBI for expertise.
" I have said that the President of the time, Bamir Topi, and then the Prime Minister, Mr. Berisha, the Speaker of Parliament, former Deputy Prime Minister Meta, the Leader of the Opposition at the time, Mr. Rama, should be summoned, because Strasbourg has definitely put the columns and has requested an exhaustive investigation and this is the last chance we have for an event like January. If it is not investigated now, it will never be investigated again. But, the Turkish expertise has actually come with the lead shell, because Aleks Nika has passed away in Turkey.
