The Road Safety expert, Gëzim Hoxha, has raised the concern that the phenomenon of accidents in Albania is a consequence of the irresponsibility of drivers. In an interview for Report TV, the expert emphasizes that drivers are completely irresponsible and do not fear the law.
According to him, an efficient solution would be to increase the fines, and they should be reviewed carefully, as this is the only way to be careful.
"We have the defect in the head. Albanians have a brain defect. 270 drivers were arrested for driving without a license and while intoxicated. This is scandalous. You consciously go out and drink alcohol and get in the car. And if you do this, you're a murderer, don't you know that?
