Anila Rezhda, judicial expert in Thessaloniki, says that no person who has worked for a long time and even bought a house in Greece, will not be left without a pension.
She said that despite the fact that at the moment there is a lot of talk about the pension scheme, in Greece even those who have worked in the dark for a very long time will receive a pension, while those Albanians who have worked from the beginning with insurance, have none problem.
"Those who entered from the beginning with insurance, at this moment enjoy full rights and have full pensions. Those people who have worked in the black, is always the problem. At the moment when they worked in the dark, it benefited both the state and the person.
There is no serious state in the world that allows a person, who has also bought property, and you say I will not give a pension. Because he wants the property tax. No one with a long stay in this country, even with the status of a housewife in Greece, is left without a pension," said Anila Rezhda in an interview for Euronews Albania.
Meanwhile, Albania and Italy have completed the technical negotiation of the agreement on pensions. About 500 thousand Albanians working in Italy will benefit, when the agreement is approved in the parliaments of the two countries.
The process for recognition of contributions started in 2014 and is now nearing completion.
