Pëllumb Shpati, the head of the crime section of the Shkodra police, who was placed under house arrest under the charge of abuse of office by allowing the cultivation of cannabis, in January of this year, explosives "tritol" were placed in his apartment.
As a result of the explosion, the walls of the 3-story villa and the parked vehicles were damaged.
While his family members themselves stated that Shpati has not had any conflict and that the tritoli was placed on him because of his duty as head of the crime section.
Today, 13 police officers in Shkodër were escorted to the police station and put under investigation under the charge of misuse of duty.
Among those accompanied is the deputy director of the police of Shkodra, Hajri Kushe.
The operatives are suspected to have favored the cultivation of narcotic plants in the Administrative Unit Ana e Mali Shkodër, as well as to have deliberately neglected to take the necessary measures for prevention, evidence of cultivation and bringing the perpetrators to criminal responsibility.
