The two apartments of the former mayor of Kukës, Safet Gjici, and the house of Alma Kaçi, were searched yesterday afternoon, within the framework of the execution of the decision of the special anti-corruption court.
Officers of the National Bureau of Investigation and officers of the State Police, who participated in the execution of the court's decision, told "Ora news" that in the two apartments of the protagonists of the sex video, published on June 16, 2023, several USBs were seized , CDs and computers.
At the same time, a pen was seized from Alma Kaçi, the tool with which it is believed that Safet Gjic was filmed inside his office.
From the next day, it is expected that SPAK prosecutor Manjola Kajana will decide to carry out the computer expertise of the seized devices, with the hope of finding other compromising materials that Alma Kaçi may have recorded to different people. Currently, the security measure "house arrest" has been assigned to Alma Kaç due to the custody of her minor son.
As for Safet Gjicin, the security measure "arrest in prison" has been applied.

Before Safet Gjici was arrested together with Alma Kaçi, the officers of the National Bureau of Investigation interrogated several employees of the Durrës municipality, who confirmed the presence of Alma Kaçi in the premises of the municipality, precisely on June 6, 2023.
At the same time, it turns out that the deputy/mayor of Kukës municipality, Granit Gjana, who is the third character of the video scandal, and the person who contacted Alma Kaçi, managing the documentation of the project plan for the sterilization of the dogs, were also questioned. on the way.
In his statement, Gjana admitted that according to the instructions given to him by the mayor, Safet Gjici, he accepted Alma Kaçi's documentation for the construction plan of the sterilization center.
According to him, the plan remained only on paper, since such a service had not yet been discussed in the municipal council, nor had a draft budget been approved.
