The Steering Council of Albanian Radio Television has determined the 2 final names in the race for the head of RTSH.
At Monday's meeting, Council members, by secret ballot, voted for the candidates who submitted their documentation within the specified deadline.
For the selection of candidates who meet the criteria for competition for the position of Director General of RTSH, by secret ballot conducted by the Ad-Hoc Commission, the following result was achieved:
Clinton Rama, 4 votes in favor, 5 votes against;
Jetmir Shpuza, 7 votes in favor, 2 votes against;
Ermal Hoxha, 3 votes in favor, 6 votes against;
Eni Vasili, 4 votes in favor, 5 votes against;
Aurora Polo, 7 votes in favor, 2 votes against
One vote was invalid.
It should be noted that there were 10 people in the race, of which 5 were removed because they did not meet the criteria, without even taking part in the vote. They are Laureta Roshi, Loriana Paskali, Harilla Koçi, Enrik Mehmeti and Flamur Buçpapaj .
At the next meeting, the RTSH Steering Council decided to call candidates Jetmir Shpuza and Aurora Polo to the hearing phase. So, in total, there are 8 eliminated.
So it seems that we are moving towards what " Pamphlet " has warned. For weeks we have been saying that the name that is being attempted to be catapulted to the head of RTSH is Aurora Polo. Since the beginning of September 2024, after the resignation of Captain Alfred Peza, the "ustallesha" Aurora Polo has been appointed Director General of RTSH. But it seems that she has enjoyed the position and is now seeking a full mandate.
There are rumors that Aurora Polo was appointed deputy director of RTSH due to the intervention of Eduard Shalsi, with whom she has close ties; even with so much power over her that she had appointed her husband Aleko Polo as Cabinet Director at the Ministry of Entrepreneurship.
She is lobbying and sacrificing to get this position, using every political connection and oligarchic preference, every means and "asset" at her disposal, because she has seen the benefits of the position of director of RTSH during her 5 months in this position, but also during her time as deputy director.
We only need to look at the latest report of the Supreme Audit Office to see how RTSH is being stolen and abused. Public Television is a treasure for the greedy and that is why it is being coveted so much. /Pamphlet
