Expired tear gas, the analyst's irony: If they had bought firefighting
Scenes from the protest

The opposition held a national protest against Prime Minister Edi Rama on Saturday afternoon, while moments of clashes between security forces and protesters were recorded.

The police used tear gas in large quantities both on the “Deshmorët e Kombit” Boulevard and on George W. Bush Street, near the Parliament building, where plenary sessions are held, to disperse the protesters. What was discovered was that the gas used was expired.

Analyst Lutfi Dervishi, through a post on social networks, ironized this fact.

" For the tear gas that expires in 2023, when the government purchased it in industrial quantities, it seems to have calculated that it would govern so poorly that protests were expected to be more frequent than rainfall."

If they had bought firefighting equipment with the same enthusiasm, perhaps we would have fewer fires and less smoke today...

"Maybe there wouldn't be any need to buy tear gas at all! " Dervishi writes.
