Lawyer Marash Logu has reacted after the decision of the Tirana Court, which ordered the return of the seized premises and equipment of Panorama Group SHA, describing the action taken on August 9 against News24 and other media outlets of the group as illegal.
"The Tirana court confirmed exactly what we have been saying since the beginning of this story; removing journalists from the building, cutting off the broadcast signal and seizing equipment is illegal, given that the media company has a valid lease contract until 2033, the property has not been subject to judicial review and has not been transferred to the company 'KAYO' sh.a." Logu wrote in a post on social networks.
He emphasized that the court's decision proves the illegality of the actions of the company "KAYO" jsc, the State Police and the Military Police.
"Now that this illegality has been proven by a court decision, will there be any reaction from the Prosecutor's Office for the illegal interruption of the signal of the largest news media in the country for four days?!" he added.
