Journalist Klodiana Lala said that there can be no prison arrest for Sali Berisha, for whom the Mandates Council approved the request of SPAK, which paves the way for his arrest.
According to Lala, Berisha cannot be sentenced to prison because of his age.
"The Parliament of Albania, in the case of Mr. Tahiri, gave authorization for a personal and apartment search. Even for the Berisha case, if SPAK had requested personal and apartment control, it is automatically obliged by law to go and request authorization from the Parliament.
SPAK means deprivation of liberty, imprisonment, house arrest. The question that is posed to everyone: Is there a prison sentence for Sali Berisha? No, there can't be, because of age.
The law says that if they are not serious crimes, you cannot arrest them in prison," Lala said in "News24".
