Fatjon Koçllari, involved in the scheme of trafficking immigrants from the Middle East to Albania, has asked the Court to combine his sentences.
GJKKO has decided to reject this request, as not based on the law.
The clandestines coming from the countries of the Middle East were received in Albania by Koçllari and then accommodated by other helpers, in Vlora, Fier or Tirana.
"On 04.03.2024, the applicant Fatjon Koçllari submitted to the Court the request with the object: "Combination of sentences".
At the end of the trial, the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime with a panel composed of judge Erjon Bani, with Decision No. 149, dated 14.05.2024 decided:
Dismissal of the request as not based on the law.
Court costs are charged to the applicant.
An appeal can be made against this decision to the Special Court of Appeal for Corruption and Organized Crime within 15 (fifteen) days, starting from the day after the announcement of this decision.
