At a time when in the middle of Tirana, in temperatures of 40 degrees, construction workers are building multi-storey buildings and ordinary citizens climb through urban transport without minimum conditions to withstand the heat, the government takes measures so that air-conditioned employees do not they have a problem with the heat.
The government has decided to take measures so that the administration can cope with the heat that has invaded the country. Although the initiative is somewhat understandable, the shortening of the hours does not seem to have much to do with the heat.
According to the information, the official starting time of work in the administration will change from 8:00 to 9:30, perhaps the cooler hours of these hot days, which could be used by employees for more efficient work. The official schedule is scheduled to close at 3:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
Meanwhile, on Friday, the government handed over the schedule to the force of habit, closing the working day at 13:00. So, more or less, the same schedule that most of the administration has all year, on Friday.
