Another building is expected to collapse today in the Uji i Ftohtë area in Vlora. The building has been surrounded by police forces and a security barricade has been installed.
The demolition of the building is expected to be carried out with IKMT equipment and not by explosion. The building is located in the area called "Kalaja" where work continues on the 'Lungomare 3' project.
This project, worth 15 million euros, of which 3 million dollars were borrowed from the Saudi Fund for Development, includes the construction of paths along the coastline, promenades, bicycle paths, sidewalks, greenery, and lighting.
The remodeling of the area covers 20 kilometers, starting from the Tunnel to the Marina in Orikum.
