Academic Artan Fuga stated that Albania, in relation to integration, has entered a situation where there is a kind of stagnation.
According to Fuga, the reason for this stagnation is the high number of corruption cases in the country, with dozens of files from various municipalities and in the government cabinet.
"I think we are in a bind. In relation to integration, we have entered a situation where there is a kind of stagnation, it is an issue that has to do with the conceptual strategy. Second, we see endless waves of corruption and we have dozens of cases, files where dozens of people, dozens of municipalities are mentioned, and on the other hand you think that it is possible for a society to be cleansed through punishment. Finally, I would also look at the relationship between the government and the opposition, where the relationship between them has entered a bind ," Fuga told 'A2CNN'.
